Something Wonderful – Casting

After a very positive script readthrough I’m happy to welcome Natalie Stacey and Mark Johnson to the cast of Something Wonderful.

We’re aiming to shoot Something Wonderful on 21st June 2010 so you should be hearing more about that in the coming weeks.

First night of shooting!

The set, all dressed for the first night of shooting

It’s here! Finally! The cast and crew of Night of the Cleaner will be congregating at our location tonight to film our first two scenes. Producer Dan has been hard at work all afternoon scrubbing, cleaning and dressing the set – you can see some of his pics in our Picasa gallery.

Joining us tonight will be new crew member Ben Ward who is our sound guy.

Hopefully at the end of this week we’ll have our initial batch of footage shot as well as (drumroll) a trailer that we will publish!

We’re going to be making this film as awesome as possible so, as always, subscribe to the RSS and keep up to date with production!

Night of the Cleaner – production update

Hi folks! We’re making some good headway with “Night of the Cleaner” and appear to have official progressed into “in production” status. We’ve got a crew of talented people together and are currently looking for actors to start shooting some test footage over the next few weeks. Filming begins in earnest this coming monday when we will be on location filming some F/X plates so hopefully I will have another update sometime next week.

We’re going to try and reveal as much as possible about our film-making process without spoiling the film itself on this blog; we’ve also set up a number of other online resources which we’ll be tapping into over the next few weeks, starting with a Picasa gallery in which we’re going to be publishing as many production pics as possible. The first few are up there now so go check them out!

As well as myself, Dan and Paul I’d also like to welcome to the crew Samantha Kieran who will be working on make-up and Pip Wilson who’s helping us light this thing. In addition we have Mike Pollard, creator of our snazzy corporate logo, working behind the scenes to create some media for Cleaner – more on that soon too!

All in all we’re very excited at the speed we’re moving with this! Keep ‘em peeled on this website for more information and don’t forget to sign up to the RSS to get updates as soon as they’re published!
